Hello and Welcome,
You might be looking for a counsellor to talk about a specific problem; maybe you feel anxious and stressed. Or you might be having relationship difficulties or have lost someone. Whatever you are going through, I would like to help.
I strive to create a safe and supportive environment, free of judgement, where we can gently explore together what is going on for you. I am warm, friendly and easy to talk to. I will listen and offer you a private space to talk about you and explore whatever is causing your unhappiness. We work collaboratively and at your pace.
Therapy can be a successful way to work through issues such as anxiety, depression, fear, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem and self-image. It is about creating an honest working relationship in a safe and calm environment. Sessions will involve looking at your current life and finding ways to manage your fears and concerns as well as looking at new perspectives and in doing so becoming more empowered and confident to manage them.
Entering therapy can be the first step to changing your life. My role is to support you to find your own path. You will learn more about yourself and in doing so gain more self-belief, be able to make positive changes and have clarity as to the causes of your problems.
